Point your phone at a barcode. Peelo tells you what the packet actually lists, who graded it, and what to buy instead.
Most scanners give you a number out of 100 and never show their working. Peelo shows you published assessments with the name of the body that published each one, sitting directly underneath.
The grade is theirs. The processing level is theirs. We report both and say so.
When something scores badly, we show better products in the same category, with the difference spelled out in grams. And they are products on US shelves, not imports you cannot buy.
Choose what you want kept out of your basket: the nine allergens a US label must declare, plus seed oils, palm oil, artificial colours, sweeteners, nitrites and more. Every scan is checked against the printed ingredient list, and any swap containing one of them is withheld before you ever see it.
Where an ingredient is genuinely disputed, we say that too, and name who is disputing it. You get the fact and the argument, not a verdict.
This is not an allergy test. We read ingredient lists as published by Open Food Facts. They can be incomplete, and recipes change. We will tell you when something is listed. We will never tell you a product is safe. Always check the packaging.
Scanning is free and stays free. So are the grades with their sources, every additive explained, the ingredient list, search, and the better products on the same shelf with the difference in grams. No trial, no countdown, nothing that charges you for forgetting to cancel.
Your avoid list, twenty things checked on every scan, and the swaps you keep for the next shop.
Same thing, cancel whenever.

There is no sign-in, because there is nothing to sign in to. Your scan history, your avoid list and your saved swaps live on your phone. We do not know who you are and cannot build a profile from your shopping. See the privacy page.
Peelo is not a medical device. It reports what a label lists and what public bodies have published about those ingredients. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it gives no dietary advice of its own. For decisions about your own health, speak to a doctor or a registered dietitian.
